Activities of the Office of the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection in August 2025

I Case statistics

In August 2025, the Office of the Commissioner received a total of 1.502 cases, namely:

• 1.181 cases related to access to information,
• 181 cases related to personal data protection,
• 30 cases related to the misdemeanor proceedings in both fields of the Commissioner’s competencies,
• 110 cases related to both fields of competency and the work of the Commissioner’s Office.

This month, the total number of resolved cases is 1.508 (1.110 — access to information, 274 — data protection, 32 — misdemeanor proceedings, 92 — harmonization, cooperation, education, certification, and reporting in both areas of the Commissioner’s competencies).
