Activities of the Office of the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection in May 2025

I Case statistics

In May 2025, the Office of the Commissioner received a total of 1.482 cases, namely:

• 1.108 cases related to access to information,
• 167 cases related to personal data protection,
• 47 cases related to the misdemeanor proceedings in both fields of the Commissioner’s competencies,
• 160 cases related to both fields of competency and the work of the Commissioner’s Office.

This month, the total number of resolved cases is 1.684 (1.220 — access to information, 218 — data protection, 75 — misdemeanor proceedings, 171 — harmonization, cooperation, education, certification, and reporting in both areas of the Commissioner’s competencies).
