Activities of the Office of the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection in February 2026:

I Case statistics

In February 2026, the Office of the Commissioner received a total of 2.053 cases, namely:

• 1.185 cases related to access to information,
• 668 cases related to personal data protection,
• 60 cases related to the misdemeanor proceedings in both fields of the Commissioner’s competencies,
• 140 cases related to both fields of competency and the work of the Commissioner’s Office.

This month, the total number of resolved cases is 2.739  (1.342 — access to information, 1.254 — data protection, 36 — misdemeanor proceedings, 107 — harmonization, cooperation, education, certification, and reporting in both areas of the Commissioner’s competencies).
