activities of the Office of the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection in January 2025

I. Cases statistics

In January 2025, the Office of the Commissioner received a total of 2.170 cases, namely:

• 1.843 cases related to access to information,
• 165 cases related to personal data protection,
• 75 cases related to the misdemeanor proceedings in both fields of the Commissioner’s competencies,
• 87 cases related to both fields of competencies and work of the Commissioner’s Office.

This month, the total number of resolved cases is 1.273 (956 — access to information, 179 — data protection, 81 — misdemeanor proceedings, 57 — harmonization, cooperation, education, certification, and reporting in both areas of the Commissioner’s competencies).
