Commissioner’s Office Attended Celebration of Serbian Registrars’ Day
Awards were presented to prominent registrars for their contribution to improving the work of registry offices and bringing services closer to citizens.
On the occasion of marking Serbian Registrars’ Day, the 80th anniversary of the Registry Office, a ceremony organized by the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government was held at the Palace of Serbia yesterday, May 18, 2026. Advisor to the Commissioner Ana Petrović Vukićević attended the event.
The Serbian Registrars’ Day is celebrated in memory of May 9, 1946, when the Law on State Civil Records came into force in Serbia.
