Commissioner initiates supervision procedure regarding publication of data on minor, contained in criminal charge

The Commissioner urges that the personal data of minors must be treated with special care, especially in situations where the same persons may be victims of violence.

On the occasion of the criminal charges filed with the First Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade against the now-deceased Oliver Antić, in which the data of the minor are stated, and the contents of which were published on February 21, 2022, on social networks, the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection will conduct a supervisory procedure to determine the facts and eventually, take measures within its competence.

The Commissioner urges that the personal data of minors must be treated with special care, especially in situations where the same persons may be victims of violence.
